About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician for a permanent role with a multi-site outpatient urgent care group in North Carolina and Tennessee. The position is located in Hixson, Tennessee, and offers flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and an environment focused on patient care.

The physician will care for patients from 6 months of age through adulthood in an outpatient urgent care setting. The practice focuses on episodic care, physicals, diagnostics, and minor procedures. On-site services include a CLIA-approved laboratory and digital X-ray, with additional provider support added as patient volume increases. The EMR is Experity.

Scheduling includes a flexible three- to four-day work week, with block scheduling available. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and weekends, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine specialty.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• ACLS required.
• DEA required.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain it.
• Civil Surgeon designation required or willingness to obtain it.
• CAQH registration required.
• Must be eligible for credentialing with major payors.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care visits.
• Perform school, sports, annual, and pre-employment physicals.
• Administer vaccinations.
• Interpret X-rays and laboratory results.
• Perform minor procedures under local anesthesia.
