About The Position

The Upper Extremities Sales Associate partners with Sales Representatives in the assigned territory to learn the medical device industry and Stryker’s Upper Extremities business, then contribute to business growth. The role supports the sales call pattern by covering cases, promoting products in assigned accounts, building sets, managing inventory, and—after gaining experience—helping convert customers to Stryker. The associate attends surgeries involving Stryker Upper Extremities products, ensures products are available for each case, and instructs surgeons on product use and functionality. The role also educates doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff on product use, maintenance, functionality, portfolio updates, and educational programs. It supports customer relationships and sales opportunities, responds to prospect needs, and provides product recommendations and information after extensive product training. Additional duties include supporting sales plans and marketing strategies, helping meet business targets, serving as a backup contact for Sales Representatives, assisting with account issues and purchase orders, and partnering on inventory and set levels. The associate maintains product and sales training, stays current on industry, customer, and competitive trends, and follows applicable compliance requirements and Stryker policies.
