About The Position

The Clinician Unlicensed provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program and assists in coordinating the mental health support services provided by the team. The role involves coordinating and collaborating with team members and outside agencies, including the Conservator’s Office, Public Guardian’s Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers.

The position is with Telecare’s Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program, which provides outpatient services to 114 adults aged 18 and older with serious mental illness resistant to treatment. Members may also have a co-occurring substance abuse diagnosis.

This is a full-time, weekday day-shift role, scheduled from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The expected starting wage range is $71,760.00–$84,024.91. Pay varies by geographic location, and starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Requirements

• Current, valid registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an ASW, AMFT, or APCC.
• Master’s degree in Social Sciences.
• One year of direct service experience with mentally ill individuals.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle insurance listing the employee as a driver.
• Willingness to use a personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
• Willingness to use a company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
• Willingness to use a personal vehicle to attend meetings.
