About The Position
The Unlicensed Clinician provides mental health support services to members served and their families at the program, and assists in coordinating all mental health support services provided by the team. This includes coordination and collaboration with team members and outside agencies, including the Conservator’s Office, Public Guardian’s Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers. Telecare STEPS (Striving Towards Enhanced Partnerships) Orange County serves 141 adults aged 18 and older with serious mental illness. Telecare’s mission is to deliver effective behavioral health services that support individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams.
Requirements
- Current, valid registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an ASW, AMFT, or APCC.
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field, working toward licensure and registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Two years of post-master’s experience in a mental health setting.
- Valid, current driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance listing the employee as a driver.
- Willingness to use a personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
- Willingness to use a personal vehicle to attend meetings.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health support services to members served and their families.
- Assist with coordination of mental health support services provided by the team.
- Coordinate and collaborate with team members and outside agencies, including the Conservator’s Office, Public Guardian’s Office, Probation Department, County Behavioral Health Services, and housing and inpatient providers.
- Drive clients to appointments and groups using a personal and company vehicle, and use a personal vehicle to attend meetings.
