About The Position
At Nation Security we are hiring a proficient & seasoned Bilingual Licensed Security Officer to join our Tampa location. The ideal candidate should be ready to commence work immediately and must hold either a D permit.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Class D License issued by the State of Florida
- Possess a valid FL Driver's License
- Have access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work varying schedules as required
- Represent themselves professionally and maintain an appropriate appearance
- Strong customer service skills
- Possess a SmartPhone
- Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of physical facilities, systems, and personnel
- Provide guidance and supervision to personnel working in hazardous areas
- Investigate incidents and criminal activities
- Conduct surveillance of property and individuals to maintain safety
- Monitor and maintain surveillance equipment
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and entry points
- Grant access after verifying credentials
- Report any irregularities to prevent loss or damage
- Enforce regulations and policies by informing violators and taking necessary actions
- Prepare detailed reports documenting observations, incidents, and activities
- Submit reports in a timely manner
- Uphold legal requirements to protect the organization's reputation
- Support team efforts to achieve desired outcomes
