About The Position

Security Management is seeking a Professional Security Officer to provide safety and security at assigned facilities. Officers serve as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, and detect and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal activity. The role focuses on protecting people and property while delivering high-quality security services and maintaining positive relationships with client employees and guests.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• If prior military service, DD 214 must show an Honorable discharge.
• Must pass a criminal record background check.
• Must pass a 13-panel drug test.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must provide a current three-year driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail while on duty.
• Must be able to stand or walk for multiple hours, potentially an entire shift, on varied surfaces; climb stairs occasionally; bend or twist occasionally; lift or carry up to 40 pounds occasionally; and run as needed.
• Must be able to use both hands and arms constantly for radio/phone use, computer work, report writing, and other administrative tasks.
• Must be able to use vision constantly to read, view security monitors, and observe or interact with people.
• Must be able to work in and adapt to varied environments, including changing outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, or heat.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services to protect people and property at the assigned facility.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing.
• Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with client employees and guests.
• Answer questions and assist guests and employees.
• Answer phones or greet guests and employees in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Observe facilities and report suspicious, unsafe, or criminal activity.
