About The Position

The Security Officer (Unarmed) maintains a safe and secure environment by providing protective services, customer assistance, and incident response in support of site operations and client needs. Officers help maintain security and safety throughout the organization and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities. The role supports the values and culture of the client and community, and includes other job-related duties as assigned.

Work hours vary according to assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and company needs. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may include any day of the week. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or quiet and slow-paced; all settings require alertness and the ability to perform under pressure.

A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required after a conditional offer. For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified; candidates may be asked to provide documentation such as pay stubs or W-2s if employment cannot be confirmed. Requirements

• Completed high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable licenses or certifications.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift and move or lift objects up to 80 pounds.
• Strong vision abilities, including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required upon receiving a conditional offer.
• For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified; proof of employment may be required if it cannot be confirmed.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time during an assigned shift; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; and occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing 25 pounds or more.
• Must be able to maintain mental concentration, analyze, and formulate.
• For driving roles, a valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines are required.
