About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Director of Fields & Grounds, the Turf & Grounds Crew member assists with overall field maintenance, including playing surfaces and stadium grounds. The role supports field preparation and stadium operations for concerts, events, soccer, San Diego State Football, and other college athletics. The hourly rate is $18.00. The position is part-time at Snapdragon Stadium and will remain open until February 5, 2027.

Responsibilities

Assist with field preparation for concerts, events, soccer, San Diego State Football, and other college athletics.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the grounds shop.
Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.
Prepare fields for games and other stadium events.
Clean up and repair fields following games.
Operate grounds equipment.
Set up and remove grow and rain tarps.
Work overnight field conversions and concerts.
Complete relevant tasks to achieve planned objectives, using creativity and initiative to identify alternatives and solutions.
