About The Position

The Seasonal Part Time Barback contributes to the team's success by stocking inventory, delivering beverages, cutting garnishes, and moving bar supplies as needed. The role supports bartenders and bar managers, keeps bar and dining areas clean and organized, and helps maintain appropriate inventory and supplies at Snapdragon Stadium. Work is performed in a loud stadium environment, typically outdoors and subject to varying weather and temperatures. Flexible scheduling may include opening, mid-day, closing, and night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; related experience, advanced training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to read, write, and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions.
Able to present information effectively and respectfully to customers, management, and employees in one-on-one, small-group, and large-group situations.
Able to calculate figures and amounts, prepare and analyze numerical figures, create and interpret spreadsheets, apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions, and read and interpret financial data.
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and develop solutions or strategies; good analytical, quantitative, organizational, and management skills.
Able to use a hand truck, pallet jack, and other forms of transport as necessary.
Able to move, lift, or carry objects or materials weighing up to 165 pounds using proper techniques, with or without assistance, and pull heavy stock carts throughout the facility.
Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, and reach frequently throughout the entire shift.
Able to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including opening, mid-day, closing, and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Must satisfactorily complete a background check before beginning work.

Nice To Haves

Food Handler’s certificate from the County of San Diego.
At least 21 years of age for alcohol service purposes and able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification.
Spanish language ability.

Responsibilities

Deliver beverages and other products throughout the facility efficiently and on time.
Stock beverage storage and maintain inventory levels of supplies.
Restock bar supplies at the request of bartenders or the bar manager.
Report needed repairs to a supervisor.
Keep the work area and equipment neat and clean.
Empty trash containers and deliver trash to appropriate dumpsters when needed.
Ensure the bar area is clean and organized before and after events.
Maintain clean dining spaces around bar and club areas.
Comply with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those concerning employment, safety, and health.
Perform other duties as assigned.
