About The Position
Nye’s Truck Repair and Wash, a division of ALNYE Trucking, LLC, is hiring a Truck Shop Attendant. The role supports fleet and shop operations by cleaning trucks, assisting with routine shop duties, maintaining facilities and grounds, and completing basic seasonal upkeep. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather.
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds and perform manual labor.
- Reliable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean truck exteriors and interiors.
- Perform trailer drop-and-hooks, sanitation tasks, and pump-overs.
- Assist mechanics and shop staff with routine shop duties.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shop, grounds, and common areas, including restrooms.
- Perform basic seasonal maintenance, such as snow removal and lawn care.
- Run errands for tools, parts, and supplies as needed.
- Occasionally perform light painting and general upkeep.
