About The Position

Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota, Florida, is seeking a full-time Golf Shop Attendant to join its Golf Services team. The attendant helps create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests while supporting the day-to-day operation of the Golf Shop. The role includes managing tee times, reservations, and lesson bookings; assisting with merchandise and equipment; processing purchases and member charges; maintaining the shop; supporting events; and providing helpful customer service. Previous golf shop experience is preferred, but the club is also interested in candidates with a positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and ability to make people feel welcome. PGA certification is not required. The club is a drug-free workplace and states, “¡Hablamos Español!”

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a smile and a welcoming attitude.
• Manage tee times, golf reservations, and lesson bookings.
• Assist members with golf apparel, merchandise, and equipment.
• Process purchases and member charges.
• Keep the Golf Shop organized, stocked, and looking its best.
• Assist with merchandise displays, inventory, and special orders.
• Work with the Golf Services team to support smooth daily operations.
• Help with tournaments, outings, and special events.
• Answer phones, assist members, and handle unexpected situations with a positive attitude.
