About The Position

Palm Aire Country Club is seeking a full-time Golf Shop Attendant to join its Golf Services team in Sarasota, Florida. The Golf Shop Attendant welcomes members and guests, supports golf-related bookings and purchases, and helps keep the shop organized and daily operations running smoothly. The role is suited to someone who enjoys golf, likes working with people, and brings a friendly, positive attitude. Previous golf shop experience is preferred, but PGA certification is not required.

• Previous golf shop experience strongly preferred.
• Basic golf knowledge and enthusiasm for the game.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to pitch in.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Dependability, professionalism, and a good sense of humor.
• Comfort with computers and point-of-sale systems.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a smile and a welcoming attitude.
• Manage tee times, golf reservations, and lesson bookings.
• Assist members with golf apparel, merchandise, and equipment.
• Process purchases and member charges.
• Keep the Golf Shop organized, stocked, and looking its best.
• Assist with merchandise displays, inventory, and special orders.
• Work closely with the Golf Services team to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Help with tournaments, outings, and special events.
• Answer phones, assist members, and handle unexpected situations with a positive attitude.
