Garden Shop Attendant
About The Position
The Garden Shop Attendant works in a seasonal outdoor department whose inventory changes throughout the year, including flowers, shrubs, pumpkins, and Christmas trees. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and using their hands. Attendants assist customers, keep the tree yard clean and organized, and stock merchandise. During Christmas, duties include making wreaths, filling tree stands, and tying trees to customers’ cars. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, willing to work outdoors in very cold conditions, and able to lift Christmas trees weighing up to 75 pounds. The position requires a flexible schedule and a positive, team-oriented approach. The estimated pay range is $18.00–$18.15 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. The employer says applicants may be able to start as soon as one week after applying.
