About The Position

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Drivers operate locally and are home every night. The role involves operating propane trucks and equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards, inspecting vehicles, maintaining delivery records, and providing professional customer service. Drivers also participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

The position offers starting pay of $23.00, depending on experience, and a sign-on bonus of $1,000 for a limited time. Bonus payments are made in installments, and employees must remain employed on each payout date; additional terms and conditions may apply. Commission or incentive pay may also be available based on role and plan eligibility.

Requirements

• Previous truck driving experience is preferred.
• Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, or the ability to obtain them quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and integrity.
• Provide friendly, professional service as a representative of Ferrellgas in the community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Assist customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.
