Delivery Truck Driver - CDL - $1000 sign on bonus
About The Position
Ferguson is hiring a CDL delivery truck driver for a field-based role in Appleton, Wisconsin. The position delivers materials to customers, assists with loading and unloading, and ensures delivery tickets accompany the materials. Drivers also pick up customer returns and validate products for credit requests. The role includes daily truck inspections, fueling and reporting vehicle issues, following safety policies, and helping warehouse staff prepare and process materials as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with no nights or weekends. Overtime may be required as needed. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is paid after 90 days of employment.
Requirements
- Hold a valid CDL A or B with an Air Brake Endorsement.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
- Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
- Have 1–3 years of commercial driving experience.
- Possess a DOT Medical Card or be able to acquire one.
- Be able to consistently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be a strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
- Be able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

- Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the materials.
- Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
- Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Adhere to safety regulations, including correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
