About The Position

CDL Drivers operate a SiteOne vehicle to deliver landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to customers while providing excellent service. They load and unload trucks, prepare inventory orders for pickup or delivery, assist customers, and work with teammates to help the branch operate successfully. The role uses in-vehicle dash cameras to support driver, workforce, and public safety. Cameras must not be obstructed or interfered with and must remain on during working time; they may be turned off during off-duty time.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records.
• Ability to perform daily physical tasks including bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching below the waist and above the head.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating a manual-shift vehicle.
• Experience operating a Moffett or other truck-mounted forklift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and cultivate and manage strong customer relationships.
• Assist customers with questions and needs in person or over the phone.
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working that positively impact business performance.
• Assist with other branch responsibilities as needed.
• Keep in-vehicle dash cameras unobstructed and operating during working time, and adhere to SiteOne safety and security protocols.
