About The Position
CORE Linen Services is hiring Class A drivers for its Transportation Department. Routes serve local hospitals and clinics throughout the Wisconsin and Chicago markets. The driver operates a company-owned vehicle over an established route to deliver linens and laundry accurately and on time while following company and applicable government and industry regulations. Schedules vary; details are provided during the interview.
Requirements
- Valid CDL driver’s license.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to push or pull a wheeled cart weighing 650 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload linen carts, tagging each cart accordingly.
- Maintain an accurate log while performing deliveries.
- Make customer deliveries accurately and on time.
- Follow established precautions and procedures regarding soiled linens.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle and equipment and perform work safely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
