About The Position

The Treatment Plan Coordinator supports patient care by greeting and scheduling patients, collecting co-payments, presenting treatment plans, and helping ensure schedules meet production goals. The role also develops reports on production goals and serves as an advocate and educator, helping patients understand and plan their dental care. The position involves coordinating treatment and payment schedules, addressing patient concerns, and maintaining an efficient office schedule while providing friendly, professional service.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of dental experience.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Outgoing, friendly, and professional personality, with excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products and dental software, and ability to learn new programs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the dental or medical field with scheduling and verifying insurance.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls using proper telephone etiquette and respond to inquiries from potential patients.
• Help patients prioritize treatment and establish schedules and payment plans for dental services.
• Present cases and support treatment acceptance, including chair-side treatment planning.
• Conduct treatment plan consultations with new and existing patients, addressing concerns and answering questions.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm new patient appointments; offer flexibility and help maintain full schedules and smooth office flow.
• Greet and schedule patients and collect co-payments.
• Work to ensure schedules meet production goals and develop reports on production goals.
