About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Nationwide Traveling Occupational Therapist based out of Houston, TX. This is a full-time position where you will practice in various Cranial Technologies locations across the United States. The role is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, exclusively working with infants. This is a unique opportunity to treat patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic, specializing in a non-traditional, niche area. You will travel to any state where Cranial Technologies has a clinic, typically departing Monday afternoon/evening, working Tuesday-Friday, and returning Friday afternoon/evening. You will be home every Saturday and Sunday. Travel assignments are provided at least two weeks in advance. The company covers travel expenses and provides a per diem. This role requires adaptability to fast-paced and new settings, working in different clinics weekly with new teammates and families. You will be taking over caseloads from other clinicians, ensuring constant interaction with new families.

Requirements

Licensed OT
500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts).
State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date.
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
Must complete AHCA screening program.

Nice To Haves

Background in pediatrics is preferred.
Candidates should be located close to a major airport for ease of travel booking.

Responsibilities

Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
Develop strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process.
