About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Nationwide Traveling Occupational Therapist based out of Fort Worth, TX. This is a full-time position where you will practice in various Cranial Technologies locations across the United States. The role is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants. This is a unique opportunity to treat patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic, specializing in a non-traditional, niche area. You will travel to any state where Cranial Technologies has a clinic, typically departing Monday afternoon/evening and returning Friday afternoon/evening, ensuring you are home every weekend. Travel assignments are provided at least two weeks in advance. Cranial Technologies covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. The role involves working in different clinics weekly, collaborating with new teammates, and meeting new families as you take over existing caseloads.

Requirements

  • Licensed OT
  • 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts).
  • State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa).
  • Must be able to complete AHCA's screening program.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in pediatrics is preferred.
  • Candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel booking.

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
  • Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
  • Develop strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process.
  • Evaluate and treat patients in various Cranial Technologies clinics across the United States.
  • Adapt to fast-paced and new settings, working with different teams weekly.
