About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Regional Traveling Occupational Therapist for a full-time position based out of Stockton, CA. This role involves traveling throughout Northern California clinics to treat infants with plagiocephaly using the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. The position is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, focusing exclusively on infants. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area within a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic. Clinicians are considered experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. The company hires from diverse backgrounds, valuing the expertise of PTs, OTs, RNs, and CPOs. While pediatric experience is preferred, it is not required due to a formal training program with mentoring.

Requirements

Licensed OT
500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric experience
Background knowledge of symmetry and asymmetry, cervical anatomy, torticollis, and infant/toddler development.
Experience in hands-on patient care and compassion for families.
Capability to treat the whole patient.
Hands-on experience with orthotics and direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
Act as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process.
