About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Regional Traveling Occupational Therapist for a full-time position based out of San Jose, CA. This role involves travel throughout Northern California clinics, including Sacramento, San Francisco, Mountain View, San Jose, Oakland, Stockton, and Fresno. The position is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants to treat plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area within a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic. Clinicians are considered experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. The company hires from various backgrounds, including PTs, OTs, RNs, and COs, valuing their diverse experiences. A formal training program with mentoring is provided, making pediatric experience preferred but not necessary.

Requirements

Licensed OT
500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Background in pediatrics is preferred.
Pediatric experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
Act as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process.
