About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Regional Traveling Occupational Therapist for a full-time position based out of Oakland, CA. This role involves traveling throughout Northern California clinics to treat infants with plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) using the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. The position is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area and treat patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic. Clinicians are considered experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process.

Requirements

• Licensed OT
• 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Background in pediatrics
• Pediatric experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
• Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
• Evaluate and treat plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
• Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process.
