About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Nationwide Traveling Occupational Therapist based out of Dallas, TX. This is a full-time position where you will practice in various Cranial Technologies locations across the United States. The role is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants. This is a unique opportunity to treat patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic, specializing in a non-traditional, niche area. You will travel to any state where Cranial Technologies has a clinic, with travel typically occurring Monday afternoons/evenings and working Tuesday-Friday, returning home each weekend. Travel assignments are provided at least two weeks in advance. Cranial Technologies covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. The role involves working in different clinics weekly, with new teammates and families, taking over existing caseloads.

Requirements

Licensed OT
500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts)
State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa)
Must complete AHCA screening program

Nice To Haves

Background in pediatrics is preferred, but not necessary as we have a formal training program that includes mentoring.
Candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel booking.

Responsibilities

Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
Develop relationships with families throughout the treatment process.
