Traveling New Accounts Teller (20 Hours) – Summit County
About The Position
Zions Bank is hiring a part-time traveling teller for its Retail Support department, which provides teller and banker coverage to branches in a geographic area when employees are absent. The role primarily supports branches in Park City, Kamas, and Coalville. It provides an opportunity to develop banking skills and build professional connections while helping branches meet strategic objectives. The position pays a minimum of $21 per hour and includes mileage reimbursement when travel exceeds 25 miles round trip from the employee’s home. Employees averaging over 20 hours per week may be eligible for benefits under the bank’s standard eligibility rules.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience, or successful completion of company-approved training.
- Advanced knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, and bank products and/or banking.
- Working knowledge of math.
- Solid balancing and customer service skills.
- Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teller experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality service while protecting the branch against loss.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of branch operations.
- Expand the client base through selling and coaching, including lending applications, cross-selling bank services and products, and assisting clients with banking needs.
- Process cash transactions and perform other customer service duties within the branch.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
