About The Position

Zions Bank is hiring a Traveling New Accounts Teller for its Retail Support department. Retail Support tellers and bankers travel to support branches across their geographical area when coverage is needed due to absenteeism. The role primarily supports branches in Utah County and may occasionally cover shifts as far north as South Salt Lake. Mileage reimbursement is provided when travel exceeds 25 miles round trip from the employee’s home.

The position provides quality customer service while protecting the branch against loss, maintaining advanced knowledge of branch operations, processing cash transactions, and performing other branch customer-service duties. The role also involves expanding the client base through successful selling and coaching, including assisting with lending applications and cross-selling bank services and products according to clients’ needs. Minimum pay is $19 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience, or successful completion of company-approved training.
• Advanced knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Working knowledge of mathematics.
• Solid balancing and customer-service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.
