About The Position

Zions Bank's Retail Support department consists of traveling tellers and bankers who support branches across their geographical area when employees are absent. The role primarily supports branches in Utah County and may occasionally cover shifts as far north as South Salt Lake. Mileage reimbursement is provided when travel exceeds 25 miles round trip from the employee's home. The position offers experience in banking fundamentals and networking opportunities while helping branches meet strategic objectives and carry out the bank's vision. Minimum pay is $19 per hour.

The role provides quality customer service while protecting the branch against loss, maintains advanced knowledge of branch operations, and processes cash transactions and other customer service duties. It also involves expanding the client base through selling and coaching, including lending applications, cross-selling bank products and services, and assisting clients with banking needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience, or successful completion of company-approved training.
• Advanced knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Working knowledge of mathematics.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients' needs.

• Previous teller experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned.
