About The Position

Zions Bank is hiring a Traveling New Account Teller for Retail Support, which provides traveling tellers and bankers to support branches throughout a geographical area when employees are absent. The role supports branch operations and strategic objectives while offering experience in banking fundamentals and opportunities to build a professional network. The position covers branches from North Ogden south to downtown Salt Lake City, as well as Eden. Mileage reimbursement is provided when travel exceeds 25 miles round trip from the employee’s home. Minimum pay is $19 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience, or successful completion of company-approved training.
• Advanced knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Working knowledge of mathematics.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service while protecting the branch against loss.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of branch operations.
• Expand the client base through selling and coaching techniques, including lending applications, cross-selling bank services and products, and assisting clients with their banking needs.
• Process cash transactions and perform other customer service duties within the branch.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
