About The Position

Nevada State Bank is accepting applications for a 40-hour Teller (Client Service Associate) at its branch in Eureka, Nevada. The role processes debit and credit transactions accurately and in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record. It also provides a range of client services, addresses client problems, and identifies cross-selling opportunities based on clients’ needs.

Requirements

• Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients’ needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, conducting money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
• Resolve clients’ problems through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities by exploring clients’ needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
