About The Position

Zions Bank is hiring a Teller in Ogden. The role supports community members in building a better financial future and offers exposure to the bank’s operations, procedures, products, and services. The Teller accurately processes debit and credit transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record. The position also identifies client needs, provides a range of banking services, resolves client problems, and explores opportunities to recommend relevant bank products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients’ needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, transferring money, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
• Resolve client problems directly or refer them to appropriate branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize opportunities to cross-sell bank products by exploring clients’ needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
