About The Position

Zions Bank is hiring a bilingual teller to serve community members and help them build a better financial future. The role processes banking transactions, provides account and other banking services, resolves client problems, and identifies opportunities to connect clients with relevant bank products and services. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Minimum pay is $17 per hour.

Requirements

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
Solid balancing and customer service skills.
Ability to cross-sell bank products based on client needs.

Responsibilities

Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
Identify and address client needs through services such as opening accounts, issuing counter checks, account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
Resolve client problems directly or refer them to appropriate branch or bank resources.
Explore client needs and maximize opportunities to cross-sell bank products.
Perform other duties as assigned.
