Travel RN Medical Unit Days
About The Position
UCHealth Greeley Hospital is hiring a Travel RN for its Medical Unit. This is a 13-week assignment with a day shift schedule and 72 hours per pay period. Local RN traveler contract options are available to those who reside within 75 miles. Pay is $50.00 per hour plus a travel package or stipend. The nurse provides direct patient care using the nursing process and practices at the top of their scope. Care is delivered on acute care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity, following evidence-based care models that incorporate AMSN core curriculum and specialty certification standards. The role emphasizes multidisciplinary teamwork, wellness, patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, safety, and quality. Nurses are also expected to model proficiency by precepting people new to healthcare or UCHealth and to welcome learning in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Requirements
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with the card in hand before the start date; the card must remain valid through 60 days after hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and practice at the top of scope.
- Deliver acute care on Medical-Surgical units serving patients with moderate to high acuity.
- Use evidence-based care models incorporating AMSN core curriculum and applicable specialty certification standards.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Prioritize wellness, the patient perspective, evidence-based practice, safety, and quality at the point of care.
- Precept people new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
