Travel RN Acute Medical Neuro Days
About The Position
The Travel RN Acute Medical Neuro provides direct patient care in a specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) unit with moderate to high patient acuity. The role practices at the top of scope using the nursing process and evidence-based care models, incorporating the AMSN core curriculum and applicable specialty certification standards. The nurse works with a multidisciplinary team, prioritizes wellness and the patient perspective, and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care. The position also models proficiency by precepting people new to healthcare and/or UCHealth and welcomes new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. This is a full-time, 13-week contract assignment at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, in the Acute Medical Neuro department. The schedule is 36 hours per week on day shifts. Pay is $50.00 per hour plus a travel package or stipend.
Requirements
- Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.
- One year of recent experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with the card in hand before the start date and valid through 60 days after hire.
