Travel RN Acute Care
About The Position
The Travel RN Acute Care position provides direct patient care on specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity. Nurses practice at the top of their scope using the nursing process and evidence-based care models, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes. The role prioritizes wellness and the patient perspective, contributes to safety and quality at the point of care, and models proficiency by precepting people new to healthcare and/or UCHealth. Nurses are expected to welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Assignments are available for 13 weeks, with local RN traveler contract options for those who reside within 75 miles. The position is at UCHealth Greeley Hospital in Greeley, Colorado, and is scheduled for 72 hours per two-week pay period on night shifts. Pay is $50.00 per hour plus a travel package or stipend.
Requirements
- CO RN license or eNLC privileges.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with the card in hand before the start date; the card must remain valid through 60 days after hire.
