About The Position
Whether you're an experienced RN or a new graduate, our Acute Care team offers opportunities to grow your skills and build your nursing career. Choose a specific unit or join our Acute Care Resource Pool: Ortho Trauma, Med/Surg, Neuro Trauma, Cardiac Telemetry, Oncology, Acute Care Resource Pool. Growth is part of our culture. Six of our nine unit leaders have been promoted from within, reflecting our commitment to developing our nurses and creating career pathways.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current Iowa RN license
- American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS for units with telemetry monitoring
- Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity.
- RNs assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and supporting patients and families.
