About The Position
UCHealth is hiring a travel registered nurse for the Acute Neurology Unit at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. This is a 13-week assignment with a day shift schedule and 72 hours per two-week pay period. Local RN traveler contract options are available to candidates who reside within 75 miles. Pay is $50.00 per hour plus a travel package or stipend. The role provides specialty acute care to patients with moderate to high acuity, using the nursing process and evidence-based care. The nurse works as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizes patient wellness and safety, and contributes to quality outcomes. The position also supports professional development by welcoming new knowledge and may involve precepting people new to healthcare or UCHealth.
Requirements
- Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.
- At least 1 year of experience.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with the card in hand before the start date and valid through 60 days after hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and practice at the top of scope.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Prioritize wellness, the patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
- Precept people who are new to healthcare or UCHealth.
