Requirements

Active RN license in California (or eligibility per state requirements)
Experience or demonstrated capability in perioperative services or surgical short-stay care
Ability to function as a scrub technician when needed
Availability to work a rotating 5x8 shift pattern
Strong communication and teamwork skills to support a fast-paced perioperative environment

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care for perioperative short-stay patients across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
Assess patient needs, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
Administer medications and monitor patient status according to physician orders
Function as a scrub technician when needed and assist surgical teams as required
Coordinate and delegate patient care while ensuring patient safety and quality standards
Collaborate with the health care team to promote effective communication and patient flow
