About The Position

This is a Travel Registered Nurse position for the ICU in The Dalles, Oregon. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/21/2026. The role involves working nights on a 3x12-hour shift schedule in an acute inpatient critical care setting. The weekly pay ranges from $2,095 to $2,160.

Requirements

Current RN license in Oregon.
ICU or critical care nursing experience in an acute care setting.
Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts.
Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to coordinate care across disciplines.
Effective communication and teamwork to support patient safety and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care for an identified patient population using the nursing process and established standards of care.
Provide coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients, coordinating with other disciplines as needed.
Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at various levels and delegate tasks appropriately.
Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, and document findings accurately.
Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to plan and adjust care as conditions evolve.
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the health care team to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
