About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for an Oncology Registered Nurse in Ukiah, California. The role is based in a hospital setting and focuses on delivering coordinated nursing care to outpatients in a clinic setting, as part of a multidisciplinary, hospital-based care team. The weekly pay ranges from $2,577 to $2,712 for a 4x10-hour day shift schedule. The start date for this assignment is August 31, 2026.

Requirements

Current, active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility to practice in California per state requirements).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Ability to work in a hospital/clinic setting delivering outpatient oncology care and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication, documentation, and clinical assessment skills; ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and 4x10-hour shifts.

Nice To Haves

Oncology or infusion clinic experience preferred; outpatient oncology exposure is a plus.
BSN preferred; an Associate Degree in Nursing with relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide coordinated oncology nursing care to outpatients in a clinic setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring safe, patient-centered care.
Coordinate care with other disciplines and departments to optimize treatment plans and patient outcomes.
Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion in planning and delivering care.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, symptom management, and safe discharge planning when applicable.
