About The Position

You will join a travel nursing assignment for a Med/Surg patient population on a large urban hospital floor. The role runs for 16 weeks starting late September 2026, with a weekly pay range of $1,607 to $1,712 and guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts are night shifts, 12 hours, scheduled in a 2x3 Nights rotation. The assignment requires EPIC electronic medical records and focuses on care for adult patients, including trauma and spinal neuro trauma surgical cases. RTO restrictions apply; no time off requests during the assignment.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience, with exposure to trauma and spinal neuro trauma surgical care
EPIC EMR experience required
Nursys license verification required
Resume submission with no gaps greater than 60 days; include skills checklist, references, and certification card
Load all demographic information into profile, including badge-appropriate photo
No RTO (no time off requests) during the assignment; able to work night shift in a high-acuity Med/Surg setting

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients, including trauma and spinal neuro trauma surgical cases, gunshot injuries, and patients with quadriplegia or paraplegia
Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage IVs and laboratory orders, and perform wound care and dressing changes
Assess and reassess pain, mobility, respiratory status, and neurological status; respond promptly to changes in condition
Document thoroughly in EPIC EMR; communicate patient needs and changes to the interdisciplinary team; participate in rounds and care planning
Implement infection prevention principles, safety protocols, fall prevention, and device/at-risk patient monitoring; ensure patient and family education on discharge planning
