About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital in Portland, OR. The position guarantees 36 hours per week on the night shift (3x12s) from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The weekly pay ranges from $1,773 to $1,865. Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (Oregon) — required.
BLS or CPR certification from an AH-approved vendor; facility-specific BLS required.
Minimum two years of recent med/surg nursing experience.
EPIC experience REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group using the nursing process.
Collect and analyze relevant health data; interpret findings to identify diagnoses and care needs.
Develop, implement, and adjust a plan of care; monitor progress and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications and treatments, monitor for response, and delegate appropriate duties to other staff as needed.
Participate in discharge planning and provide patient and family education; communicate health information to the treatment team.
Maintain a safe, healing environment and advocate for patient rights; support learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
