About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical specialty located in Honolulu, Hawaii. The assignment is for 13 weeks and begins on September 8, 2026. The role involves providing direct patient care in a short-term acute-care hospital setting. Weekly pay is estimated between $1,875 to $2,044 for a guaranteed 32 hours per week, with rotating 3/12 shifts.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license required prior to start of contract
- Must be able to work consecutive weekends as needed
- Availability to work 3/12’s rotating shifts
- Travel eligibility for a 13-week assignment in Honolulu, Hawaii
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, including assessment, monitoring, and timely response to changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and therapies as ordered, document administration, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Develop and update individualized care plans, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and communicate changes to physicians.
- Perform patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination of care with external providers as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and privacy policies.
