About The Position
This travel opportunity is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) with a 14-week contract starting 10/05/2026 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The role offers a weekly pay range of $1,639 to $1,739, with guaranteed 36 hours per week and a Day shift pattern described as 12x3. The assignment takes place on a hospital-based unit with approximately 10 beds, focusing on rapid admissions and a mix of general medical and post-operative patients awaiting surgery.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license with verification (Nursys) and ability to practice in Georgia
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience, with Tele experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, 10-bed admission-focused unit
- Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Monitor patient status, assess, document, and respond to changes in clinical condition
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and ensure accurate medication reconciliation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and efficient patient flow on a high-turnover unit
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and teammates to support smooth admissions and patient education
