About The Position

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery travel assignment in Glendale, California, United States. This is a temporary assignment in a hospital setting, lasting for 13 weeks. Requirements

Current and unrestricted RN license in California
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to work 3x12 night shifts in a high-acuity, labor and delivery setting
Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment in Glendale, CA
Strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills
Knowledge of standards of care and the nursing process; ability to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Documents nursing care in the medical record per policy and ensures accurate, timely updates.
Participates in the planning and evaluation of patient care plans within the scope of the nursing process.
Maintains patient safety and infection control standards and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
