About The Position
Travel Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care (OB/Labor & Delivery/Postpartum/Nursery) in Perham, MN. This is a travel assignment measured in weeks, with a weekly pay rate of $2,304 to $2,415 and 0 guaranteed hours. The shift is 12-hour days and nights on a rotating schedule (3x12). The unit work setting is a community hospital OB/L&D/Postpartum/Nursery with diverse support services. Requirements
- Active MN Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Community hospital experience required
- Epic charting experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN (Beginner & Intermediate)
- COVID-19 vaccine required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct obstetric and newborn nursing care on the OB/L&D/Postpartum/Nursery unit.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret external fetal monitoring, and assist with labor and delivery (vaginal delivery, induction, C-section support).
- Administer IV medications and infusions, perform venipuncture, and manage postpartum analgesia and medications.
- Deliver postpartum and newborn care, including newborn assessments and breastfeeding support.
- Chart accurately in Epic and coordinate with interdisciplinary team (PT, Respiratory, Interpretation, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy).
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and safety protocols.
