About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in an Urgent Care setting in Big Sky, Montana. The contract is for 13 weeks, starting on 11/16/2026. The role involves working 10-hour day shifts, with guaranteed 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. The setting is acute care, similar to a hospital environment.

Requirements

• Active Montana Registered Nurse license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Ability to work in a busy hospital-equivalent acute care setting and on a 10-hour shift
• On-call duties may be required to respond to organizational needs

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or other acute care settings
• Preferred experience in pre-hospital environments (e.g., ski patrol, search and rescue, EMS)

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health and situation (assessment)
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
• Identify expected outcomes and develop an individualized plan of care
• Implement the prescribed plan of care and monitor patient progress
• Educate patients and families and promote a safe environment
• Collaborate with the health care team and contribute to professional practice
• Maintain ethical practice, confidentiality, and keep knowledge current with standards
