About The Position

This is a travel pharmacist assignment in an outpatient surgery center setting in Tuba City, Arizona. The engagement is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/21/2026. The role involves providing comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services, reviewing medication orders, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The position also supports policy compliance, quality initiatives, and workflow across the outpatient pharmacy and satellite clinics.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a school recognized by the ACPE
Current, valid, and unrestricted pharmacist license in a US state or territory (or the District of Columbia)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist
Minimum one (1) year as a Clinical Pharmacist
Ability to work in an outpatient and clinic-based setting; willingness to rotate day shifts
Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to patients in an outpatient setting
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety; resolve discrepancies
Counsel patients on medications, dosing, potential side effects, and adherence strategies
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes
Support policy compliance and participate in quality and safety initiatives; assist in program development as needed
Support workflow across the outpatient pharmacy and satellite clinics, including documentation and reporting
