About The Position

This is a travel assignment for an Inpatient Pharmacist in Tuba City, Arizona, lasting 13 weeks. The role involves providing comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to diverse inpatient populations, including neonatal to geriatric patients, with rotating coverage for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The setting is a Surgery Center.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-recognized school
Current valid and unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in the United States (state/territory/DC)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist
Minimum 1 year’ experience as a Clinical Pharmacist
Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to patients across neonatal to geriatric populations, including oncology and obstetric patients.
Review orders for accuracy, dosing, interactions, and ensure safe dispensing; perform medication reconciliation as part of daily practice.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to optimize therapy.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards; support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation in the pharmacy information system and provide education to patients and staff as needed.
