About The Position
Omega World Travel is hiring experienced Travel Consultants to plan and book all details of travel for a prestigious federal government agency. The position is located onsite at Omega’s Fairfax, Virginia location. Consultants handle domestic and international travel requests and process air, hotel, rail, and car reservations. They provide excellent onsite and telephone customer service, respond promptly to emails, and use a GDS reservation system and other associated travel tools. Afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend schedules are available.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Travel Consultant experience.
- Strong knowledge of a GDS.
- Strong knowledge of world geography.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Sabre or Apollo experience.
- Experience with a government travel management company.
