About The Position
The Transportation Escort escorts participants door through door using PACE transportation services to the PACE Center, their homes, medical appointments, and other destinations. Under the supervision of the Transportation Coordinator, the Escort communicates while the van is in motion and reports any observed changes in participants’ conditions. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday, for 30 hours per week. BoldAge PACE provides an all-inclusive, personalized program of care intended to support older adults in living meaningful, independent lives at home with dignity.
Requirements
- Fluency in Lao; bilingual ability is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with older adults, preferably in a PACE, adult day health, long-term care, or healthcare setting. Training will be provided if this experience is not present.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and at least the minimum state-required liability auto insurance.
- Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before direct participant contact.
